Hwang Sun-hong Ho reveals his starting lineup for Qatar!

Heo Yul will lead the attack while fellow Gwangju FC teammate Uhm Ji Sung will provide support.

The South Korea U-22 national team, led by Hwang Sun-hong, will take on Qatar in their first Group B match of the 2024 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U-23 Asian Cup qualifiers at the Changwon Football Center Main Stadium on Saturday at 8 p.m. KST.

Ahead of the match, the starting lineup has been released. Korea will start with Min Kyung-hyun, Cho Sung-kwon, Cho Woo-jae, Uhm Ji Sung, Heo Yul, Baek Jong-beom, Kang Hyun-mook, Lee Jin-yong, Jeon Byung-kwan, Oh Jae-hyuk, and Lee Tae-seok.

The goal is to top the group. However, the head-to-head record against Qatar will not affect the group standings. As the host nation, Qatar qualified regardless of the results of the regional qualifiers. South Korea will play Kyrgyzstan on Sept. 9 and Myanmar on Sept. 12 for the top spot in the group. 안전놀이터

A total of 16 teams will qualify for the U-23 Asian Cup, including the top four teams from each of the 11 qualifying groups and the top two runners-up, plus hosts Qatar.
