‘Chobi’ Jeong-hoon’s Yone and ‘Delight’ Yoo Hwan-joong’s Alistar saved Genji from a cliffhanger and played Silver Scraps.
Genji broke the opponent’s nexus in the fourth set of the Winners’ Group T1 match of the third round of the ‘2023 LOL Champions Korea (LCK) Summer Playoffs on Wednesday afternoon at the LCK Arena in Jongno, Seoul, as Jung-hoon “Chobi” Jeong-hoon and Yoo “Delight” Hwan-joong led the team to a 2-2 tie after 30 minutes.
After dropping the second and third sets in a row, Genji started the ban pick phase with a ban on ‘Kumayushi’ Jaya, bringing in an Alistar to power the bot with a Jerry-Alistar. Add in Gangplank and Yone, and you have a high-value combination that can carry both long and short distances.
T1 completed the high-value combination of Jax-Sezzuani-Azir-Bane-Brahm to set the stage for the real showdown. 메이저놀이터
The early game was dominated by T1, with ‘Owner’ Moon ‘Hyun-jun’ Moon’s continuous top lane intervention to grow ‘Jax’ and take away the power of the gangplank. However, Genji also became a key part of Genji’s power as ‘Chobi’ Yone continued to pick up kills.
With the game shifting to a Yone-Jax composition, Genji took control of the canyon as Alistar on Delight continued to create illusions through superplay. With Jax’s growth stunted, T! quickly crumbled under Genji’s onslaught.
After tripling his dragon stack, Genji was able to grab the Baron buff along with a big one-hit win, effectively sealing the game. After regrouping, Genji charged again, this time with a cool ace, sending Silver Scraps reverberating through the roll park.
