Speaking to the press room after the game, Ryu “Keria” Min-seok said the team gained confidence from the back-to-back wins before the playoffs. “We still have a long way to go, but our performance has improved a lot compared to July,” Ryu added.
When asked about the impact of Lee “Faker” Sang-hyuk’s return on the team, Ryu said, “All the players are very motivated. “In July, we played too hard because we thought we had to play a little longer. After his return, we’re trying to regroup.”
At the end of the interview, Ryu Min-seok expressed his gratitude to Yoon Sung-won, the “fobby” who filled in for Lee Sang-hyuk. Ryu Min-seok said, “I had a really hard time during the month of July. I’m sorry I could only give them one win,” he said.
